Viewing retailers "weekly ads"
I know this sounds dumb, but I live in a very rural area and like to browse major retailers weekly ads. After landing on their site and trying to open their ad, I receive error "server not found". This is every site I go to. I have no trouble getting to the main site but cannot access the ads. I checked andthe pop up blcok is off - any suggestions? Thanks

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I tried your suggestion, but I still cannot open the weekly ads on any major vendor (Target, Best Buy, etc.). Error is IE cannot displaythe webpage. ....check that SSL and TSL protocols are enabled. They are. Any other ideas, or should I just buy a newspaper - lol. Thanks

You can try a browser reset. Open the browser and if you are using IE8 click on tools and down to internet options. Click on the secuity tab. At the bottom there is a button that says "reset all zones to there default level". Click it and keep that window open. Now, click on the advanced tab. There is a reset button at the bottom, and of course click. Close and restart the browser and hopefully good luck.

Thank you. I did as suggested, still unable to access "weekly ads". I can get to merchant's web site but and move around on it, but ads will not open. I tried using Firefox with same results so I don't think it is an IE problem but rather a RC7 setting I may have wrong? Thanks again.

When I went through the IE"reset" steps suggested earlier, I got a repeated prompt to upgrade to IE 8 (which I had already BTW). Went through the setup of IE8 and all works fine. Dunno why - just 'cause I guess. Thanks!

Running RC7 - had IE 8 already installed - got repeated prompts to "upgrade" to IE 8 , so I did! Went thought complete setup and guess what, it worked! I'm not smart enough to know why, only that it did. But, I did find out one thing - this is a great place to get answers and advice from a lot of smart people. So, thanks to everyone.DH
